Crochet Hook:Size G-6 (4.25 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: Rows 2-3 = 1"; 3 blocks of dc = 2"

dc - double crochet
lp - loop
rep - repeat
rnd - round
sl st - slip stitch
sp - space
st - stitch
yo - yarn over

Afghan

Row 1: (Right Side): With MC, ch 182, dc in 8th ch from hook (skipped ch counts as 1st dc, ch 2), *ch 2, skip next 2 ch, dc in the ch) rep from * across, TURN EACH ROW. (60 dc and 59 ch-2 sps).

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), 2 dc in first ch-2 sp, 3 dc in each ch-2 sp across. (177 dc)

Row 3: Ch 5 (counts as first dc and ch 2 now and throughout) * skip next 2 dc, dc in next sp between 3-dc blocks, ch 2, rep from * across, dc in last dc. (60 dc and 59 ch-2 sps)

Row 4-61: Rep Rows 2-3

At the end of 61, finish off and weave in ends.

Edging

With right side facing, join CC with sl st to 1st ch-2 sp of Row 61, ch 3, 2 dc in same block, * 3 dc in next open block across to corner, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in corner), working in sides of Rows, 3 dc in each Row to corner, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in corner, rep from * to starting corner, 3 dc in starting corner, ch 1, join with sl st to 1st sc, finish off and weave in ends.
