“H” hook & Worsted Weight Cotton yarn. 2.5oz will make 4 coasters.

“Cold Flower”  (purple)

Rnd 1: Ch4, Work 11DC in 4th ch from hook. Join in top of beg ch4. (12dc)

Rnd 2: Ch1, SC in joining. [2SC in one dc, SC in next dc] 5Xs. 2SC in dc. Join to 1st SC. (18sc)

Rnd 3: Ch3, DC in joining. 2DC in next. [DC in one st, 2DC in 2sts] 5Xs. DC in last st. Join w/slst in top of beg ch3. (30dc)

Rnd 4: Ch1, SC in joining. SC in 3sts. [5DC in next dc, SC in 4sts] 5Xs. 5DC in last dc. Join to 1st sc. (24sc, 30dc)

Rnd 5: Ch1, SC in joining. SC in 3sts, [+HDC in 2sts, 2HDC in next st, HDC in 2sts+. SC in 4sts] 5Xs. Repeat +to+ once and join in 1st sc. (24sc, 24hdc) Fasten Off.

“Hot Flower”  (Yellow)

Repeat rounds 1 & 2 same as, “Cold Flower”

Rnd 3: Ch3, DC in joining. 2DC in next. [Ch1, skip-sc, 2DC in 2sts] 5Xs. Ch1, skip-sc. Join w/slst in top of beg ch3. (24dc, 6ch1sp)

Rnd 4: Ch1, SC in joining. SC in 3sts. [5DCl in next sp, SC in 4sts] 5Xs. 5DC in last sp. Join to 1st sc. (24sc, 30dc)
