Measures

4-1/4 " x 4-1/4"

MATERIALS:

Red Heart 4 ply WW Yarn
(Small amount of Purple & White)
Hook Size GStitches: ch, sl st, sc, lsc, rev sc.
lsc= this is a regular sc but it is worked in a row other than the normal working row.
rev sc= this is also a regular sc but it is worked going in the opposite direction on the working row.

Difficulty: MEDIUM

R1: With Purple, ch14, sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in ea rem ch.

R2: Ch1, turn. Sc in same st. (Ch1, sk next st, sc in next st) across.

R3: Ch1, turn. Sc in ea sc and in ea ch1 sp.

Rs4-13: Rep R2 & R3 alternatively, ending with R3.

Fasten off.

EDGE:

R1: Join White with a sc in any corner st.
Ch1, sc in same st. Working only in the ch1 sps along the sides (1 row below OR in the 2nd st from the row ends). Work 2lsc in ea ch1 sp, and work (sc, ch1, sc) in ea corner.
Join with sl st.

R2: Ch1, do not turn. Rev sc around entire coaster. Join with sl st.

Fasten off.
