Pattern Notes
1) A ch1 at beg of the row counts as sc, a ch3 at beg of the row counts as dc, a ch4 at beg of the row counts as tr throughout.
2) The project is crocheted as a circle. Finish rounds with sl st.

Make a magic ring
Round 1: Cluster of Chain 3 (counts as 1 dc) and 1dc, ch2, *2dc cluster, ch2* repeat from * to * 10 more times, end up with sl st in the top of 3rd ch from beg
You will have 12 groups of "2dc clusters" placed in the magic ring
Round 2: sl st in next 2 st from previous row to move into the middle of the first chain sp.
1sc *ch5, 1sc in the next ch sp* repeat from * to * 11 more times, end up with sl st in the 1st sc
You will have 12 groups of "ch5" placed between ch sp from previous row
Round 3: sl st in next 2 st from previous row to move into the middle of the first chain sp.
*1sc, ch12, 1sc in the same ch sp, ch5 to move next ch sp, 2sc in the next ch sp, ch5 to move to next ch sp* repeat from * to * 4 more times
the last sequence: 1sc, ch12, 1sc in the same ch sp, ch5 to move next ch sp, 2sc in the next ch sp, 2ch, 1dc placed into the 1st sc at the beg
You will have 6 groups of "ch12" around
Round 4: *in the ch12 sp work 6dc, ch1, 6dc, in the next ch sp work 1sc, then ch5 to move to next ch sp, in that next ch sp work 1sc*

You will have 6 groups of 2tr "v" around
Round 6: ch3 (count as 1dc) *1dc into each st from previous row till you reach the top of the snowflake then work 3dc into the sc from the previous row, then again only 1dc into each st*
repeat from * to * till the end of the row, end up with sl st in the 3rd ch from beg
Round 7 - ending (it is optional): change the colour - I used red and green
ch1 (count as 1sc) *1sc into each st from previous row till you reach the end of the row
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
