Templ acrylic yarn

4 mm crochet hook


Instructions:

Make a magic ring by wrapping the yarn around your non-dominant hand.

Insert the crochet hook under the small loop and over the large loop.

Pull the large loop through and yarn over.

Pull through the loop on the hook and chain one.


Round 1:

Work 10 half double crochets (HDC) into the magic ring.

After completing the 10 HDCs, pull the tail end to tighten the ring.

Slip stitch into the first stitch to close the round.

Round 2:

Work a round of HDC increases. (2 HDC into each stitch from the previous round, total 20 stitches).

For Round 3:

Triple crochet (TC) into the next stitch.

Another TC into the next stitch.

DC into the next stitch followed by a HDC into the same stitch.

Repeat the pattern [HDC, DC, TC, TC, DC, HDC] all the way around.

Slip stitch into the first stitch to close the round and chain one.
