​Crochet Vest for School-Girl

You’ll need:

110g of grey-blue yarn (70% polyacryl, 30% cotton; 1000m/100g);

Crochet hook 2.

Note: work in 3 threads of yarn.

Size: 7 years.

1 x 1 rib: * 1 fpdc, 1 bpdc*

Instructions

Front

Work from up to down. Make 16 chain sts.

1^st row: 16 double crochets;

2^nd row: 5 double crochets, 1 chain st, 9 double crochets, 2 double crochets in double crochet of the previous row (increase). Then, work due to the scheme 1. Make left side to the 14^th row. Make right side in reflection to the left side. In the 14^th row, add 1 chain st in the end and connect right side with left side with slip st. Cut the yarn. Continue work from the end of the left side and make your vest as one-piece cloth to forming arm-holes (2 more rows – 15^th and 16^th), don’t forget to make increases from both sides. Make 1 chain st before connecting front with back in the 16^th row from both sides.

Back

Make 71 chain sts and work due to the scheme 2. After the 10^th row, the edges of back fully repeat the pattern and increases of the scheme 1. Make back in the same way to the 16^th row. Then, connect back and front with slip st and make the whole work with circle turning rows in the following way: 1 chain st, 1 single crochet in the same st, 1 chain st. The 37^th row is the last row of this pattern (make 1 chain st in the middle of front and back). Then, work with double crochets for 15 rows. Fasten the bottom of your work with 4 rows of 1 x 1 rib. Fasten sleeves and neck-hole with 3 rows of 1 x 1 rib.
