G/4.25mm Hook
WW yarn in orange
WW yarn in yellow
WW yarn in black
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Polyfil or filling material
Eyes Make 2 in Black.
Round 1: 2sc in Magic Circle (2)
Pull to close (you should have an oval shape)
Slst in first sc, ch1 and F/O, leaving tail for sewing.
Body in Orange.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *sc in next st, 2sc in next st* around (18)
Round 4: *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st* around (24)
Round 5-8: sc around (24)
Round 9: *sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st* around (30)
Round 10-13: sc around (30)
Round 14: *sc in next 4 st, 2sc in next st* around (36)
Round 15-16: sc around (36)
Round 17: *sc in next 5 st, 2sc in next st* around (42)
Round 18: sc around (42)
Round 19: *sc in next 6 st, 2sc in next st* around (48)
Round 20: sc around (48)
Round 21: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 st* around (36)
Round 22: *sc2tog, sc in next st* around (24)
Stuff. Add extra stuffing where you want his belly to be.
Round 23: *sc2tog* around (12)
Round 24: *sc2tog* around (6)
F/O, and weave tail through last round, closing hole. Weave in ends.
Nose in Orange.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *sc in next st, 2sc in next st* around (18)
Round 4-5: sc around (18)
Round 6: *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st* around (24)
Round 7-8: sc around (24)
F/O, leaving tail for sewing.
Arms Make 2 in Orange.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
Round 2-6: sc around (6)
F/O, leaving tail for sewing.
Fingers Work one on the end of each arm.
Flatten arm, adn attach yarn with slst in beginning of magic circle.
*ch4, slst in same st, slst in next st* repeat until you have 4 fingers.
End with a slst, and F/O. Weave in tail.
Feet Make 2 in orange.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 3-4: sc around (12)
Round 5: *sc2tog* 4 times total. Sc in next 4. (8)
Stuff foot lightly. Continue with Leg (DO NOT F/O)
LegRound 6-9: sc around (8)
F/O, leave tail for sewing.
Hat starting in Yellow.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 3-4: sc around (12) Switch to black, leaving a long yellow tail for sewing. (I forgot to do this, so mine is shown with black -- don't do that! LOL!) Weave through so it comes out the top of the hat.
Round 5: sc around in FLO (12)
Round 6: In both loops, 2sc in each st around (24)
F/O, weave in end.
Cane In yellow. Round 1: 4sc in Magic Circle (4)
Round 2-12: sc around (4)
Add more rounds for a longer cane.
F/O, weaving tail through last round to close. Shape into a cane, and secure using tail.
Assemble, remembering that his is Mr. Topsy Turvy, so his hat goes on upside down, and the bottom of the cane goes in his hand! Enjoy!
