  • Two 4mm safety eyes
  • A piece of black yarn for the muzzle
  • A piece of yellow yarn for the whiskers
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Stuffing

Body and Head

This is worked in spiral. Stuff as you go.

MC

R1 = 8sc in MC (8)

R2 = sc, 2 sc in each of the next 3 sts, sc, 2sc in the next 3 sts (14)

R3 = sc in the next 2 sts, 2sc in the next 3 sts, sc in the next 4 sts, 2sc in the next 3sts, sc in the next 2 sts (20)

R4 = sc in the next 5 sts, 2sc in the next 3 sts, sc in the next 7 sts, 2sc in the next 3sts, sc in the next 2 sts (26)

R5 = sc in the next 7sts, 2sc in the next 3 sts, sc in the next 10 sts, 2sc in the next 3sts, sc in the next 3 sts (32)

R6 = sc in all the sts (32)

R7-R14 = repeat R6

Place the eyes between R13 and R14

R15 = *sc, dec* repeat around (24)

Cut yarn leaving a long tail and close with your needle.

With the black yarn, embroider the muzzle and use the yellow for the whiskers.

Make two:

Cut and secure yarn.

Sew the ears on the top of the head, one of them slightly tilted to the side.

R2-R11 = sc around. Cut and secure yarn.

Sew the tail at the back of the cat.
