Rnd 1: With larger hook, join yarn at Front right seam, ch 3, 2 dc in seam, working into ends of every other sc row (2 sc rows at seam count as 1 row end), shell 23 [25, 29, 33, 37] times evenly sp around edge, 3 dc in same seam as beg ch-3 (first shell finished), join with sc in top of beg ch-3. Designer Tips

Blocking is important to get top to fit correctly.The front and the back will stretch widthwise as they are worked. It may look too wide to fit and too short to look as in the diagram. Wet-block, and instead of laying top flat to dry, hang it from a sturdy hanger. The weight of the garment combined the properties of the cotton yarn will have it the correct proportions in no time!
