  • Cotton (ricorumi)
  • Crochet hook : 3 mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiberfill for stuffing
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors

  • Sc single crochet
  • Inc: increase
  • Dec decrease
  • ()*: repeat till the end of the round

Step By Step Pattern

Head

  • RND 1: MR + 6 sc [6]
  • RND 2 6 x inc [12]
  • RND 3: (1 sc, inc)* [18]
  • RND 4: (2 sc, inc)* [24]
  • RND 5 -> RND 8: 24 sc [24]
  • RND 9:(2 sc, dec)* [18]
  • Stuff lightly the head.
  • Flatten and crochet through both layers -> Start with ch1 and work in back loops when closing and making tentacles (tutorial 1).

Tentacles

Straight tentacles :

  • R10 BLO 3 sc, (ch13 -> 12 sl st, 1 sc in next st) x 5, 2 sc

Curly tentacles:

  • R10 BLO 3 sc, (ch15 -> inc x 14 sl st, 1 sc in next st) x 5, 2 sc
  • Continue directly by crocheting in front loops of R10 (tutorial 2):
  • (1 sl st, ch 2, 1 sl st in next st)* repeat till the end of the round. Fasten off.
  • No assembly is needed.
  • Your little jellyfish is ready!
  • If you want a bigger size, add increased rounds.
  • You can mix straight and curly tentacles.
