Materials: This flower can be worked with any weight of yarn. Finer weights will create a smaller flower and bulkier weights will create a larger flower. Use an appropriate hook size for the selected yarn.

We used: Worsted Weight yarn and a size I-9 hook.

Abbreviations:

ch - chain
slst - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
tr - treble

FLOWER:
Rnd. 1: With Green, ch2, 6sc in 2nd ch from hook, join to beginning sc, ch1, do not turn. 6sc

Rnd. 2: Working over Rnd. 1, 12 sc in beginning ch-2 ring, join t beginning sc, fasten off . 12 sc

Rnd. 3: With Cranberry, working in front loops only, attach yarn in any sc on Rnd. 2, *ch3 (counts as first dc), 4dc in same st, drop last loop from hook, insert hook in first dc, pick up dropped loop, pull loop through, ch3, slst in same st, skip next sc, slst in next sc*, repeat from *to* 5 times, join to first ch of beginning ch3, fasten off. 6 popcorn stitches.

Rnd. 4: Working in back loops of Rnd. 2, attach Orange in any sc, ch1, sc in same st, 2sc in next sc, *sc in next sc, 2sc in next sc*, repeat from *to* 4 times, join to beginning sc. 18 sc

Rnd. 5: Ch1, sc in same st, ch3, skip next sc, *sc in next sc, ch3, skip next sc*, repeat from *to* 7 times, join with slst to beginning sc. 9 ch-3 loops

Rnd. 6: Slst to ch-3 sp, ch1, *[sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc] in ch-3 sp*, repeat from *to* 8 times, join with slst to beginning sc. 9 petals

Rnd. 7: *Ch3, slst in next st*, repeat around, join to beginning slst, fasten off.

Note: for smaller flower, omit next 3 rnds.

Rnd. 8: Keeping last row of petals in front, join with sc to any skipped sc on Rnd. 3, ch4, *sc in next skipped sc, ch4*, repeat from *to* 7 times, join with slst to beginning sc. 9 ch-4 loops

Rnd. 9: Slst to ch-4sp, *[sc, hdc, dc, 3tr, dc, hdc, sc] in ch-4sp*, repeat from *to* 8 times, join with slst to beginning sc.

Rnd. 10: *Ch3, slst in next st*, repeat around, join to beginning slst, fasten off.
