Terezka: 50 g / 155m / 100% cotton

Other recommended yarn: Alize Miss

For Halo and bottom ending I used:

Metallic Thread Cone

100 g / 1000 m / 100% lurex

For this pattern you will need 2.5 mm crochet hook.


Scissors


Sewing/Embroidery and yarn needle/tapestry needle for sewing pieces together and weaving in ends

PATTERN NOTES

1) A ch1 at beg of the row DOESN'T count as a stitch

2) A ch3 at beg of the row COUNTS as a stitch

3) Magic ring = the starting point for crocheting in a spiral. Use which ever method you prefer. Then work in closed rounds, till you finish the HEAD.

4) ( ) – The number of stitches that should be in a completed round/row are placed in brackets at the end of that round’s/row’s instructions.

The finished size will depend on what yarn you use, as well as your tension and hook (as with any amigurumi).

Crochet Hook 2.5 mm

HEAD

Work in closed rounds, close the round with a sl st in 3rd ch from beg.

Make a magic ring

R1: ch3 (dc), 15 dc in magic ring, close the round with a sl st in 3rd chain from beg (16 dc)

R2: ch3 and 1dc in 1st st, 2dc in each st around, close the round with a sl st in 3rd chain from beg (32 dc)

R3: ch1, 1sc in 1st st, 1sc in next 5 st, ch3, sk 1 st, 1dc in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, 1dc in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, tr in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, tr in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, dtr in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, tr in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, tr in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, 1dc in next st, ch2, sk 1 st, 1dc in next st, ch3, sk 1 st, 1sc in next 7 st, close the round with a sl st in 1st chain from beg. turn

Work in rows back and forth, turn your work when you finish row and make a chain

R4: sl st in next 3 st, turn, work in 9th st

R5: ch3, ch1, repeat 3times: (1dc in next st, ch1), (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next st, ch1, repeat 2times: (1dc in next st, ch1), (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next st, repeat 4times (ch1, 1dc in next st), turn (14 dc and ch1 between them)

R6: ch4, 2 tr in 1st st, ch1, 2 tr in next st, ch1, repeat 2 times: (2dc in next st, ch1), repeat 6times (1dc in next st, ch1), repeat 2times: (2dc in next st, ch1), 2 tr in next st, ch1, 3 tr in posl. sl, turn (24 dc)

R7: ch3, repeat (1sc in next st, ch3) till end of row, 1sc in last st (23 loops)

Cut yarn and fasten off and wave all ends in.

DRESS

R8: skip 9 loops from beg of row, re-join a new yarn in 10th loop, work in next 5 loops
ch3, 2dc in 1st loop, repeat 4 times: (ch1, 3dc in next loop), turn. (5 groups of 3dc and ch1 between them)

R9: ch3 and 2dc in 1st st, ch1, repeat 4times: (3dc in next chsp, ch1), 3dc in last st in row, turn (6 groups of 3dc and ch1 between them)

R10: ch3 and 2dc in 1st st, ch1, repeat 5times: (3dc in next chsp, ch1), 3dc in last st in row, turn (7 groups 3dc and ch1 between them)

R11: ch5, 1sc in chsp, repeat 5times: (ch5, 1sc in next chsp), ch5, 1sc in last st, turn (7 loops)

Halo – golden thred

Re-join new yarn in the first ch3sp

Halo: work on the right side: ch1, 3sc in chsp, 1sc in st, repeat: 9 times: (2sc in chsp, 1sc in st), 3sc in last ch3 sp, 1sc in last sc.

Cut yarn and fasten off and wave all ends in.

Bottom Ending – golden thread

Re-join new yarn in the last row, work sl stitches: 1sl st in each st (don’t work in picots)

FINISHING - INSTRUCTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Turn out the angel on a flat mat, iron it over the cotton cloth, the angel holds its shape better.

Cut yarn and fasten off and wave all ends in.
