You'll need:

150g of yarn (53% acryl, 29% polyamid, 18% wool; 287m/50g);

A little bit of contrast yarn;

Knitting needles 4;

Needle with big eye.

Size: 71 x 93 cm.

Used Patterns

Fancy pattern 1: due to the scheme;

Fancy pattern 2: the quantity of sts is multipled 16 + 1 selvedge st:

1st, 2nd, 3rd rows: knit;

4th row: 1 knit st, * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 6 knit sts, 1 double broaching, 6 knit sts, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * to 1 st, 1 knit st;

5th row: purl.

Repeat 4th and 5th rows 6 times.

Stitches control: on fancy pattern 1 with knitting needles 4: 41 sts x 57 rows = 20 x 20 cm; on fancy pattern 2 with knitting needles 4: 23 sts = 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 133 sts and make fancy pattern 1, starting with 1 selvedge st and 1st st of the scheme. After knitting 82 cm, bind off the sts loosely.

Edging

First Edge

Cast on 146 sts and make with ornament 2, decreasing 1 st x 8 in every 2nd row from both sides. After 16 rows of pattern, make 1 row of knit sts on right side and 1 row with contrast yarn. This row will be let out later.

Make the second detail in analogy to the first one.

Second Edge

Cast on 178 sts and make with ornament 2, decreasing 1 st x 8 in every 2nd row from both sides. After 16 rows of pattern, make 1 row of knit sts on right side and 1 row with contrast yarn. This row will be let out later.

Make the second detail in analogy to the first one.

Assembly

Sew the edging along the plaid perimeter.
