​Beach Tunic for Baby Girl

You’ll need:

2 skeins of yarn (66% cotton, 34% viscose; 334m/100g) of light-green color;

1 skein of the same yarn, but white color;

Crochethook 2,5;

3 decorativeflowers.

Size: 8-12 months.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: due to the scheme 1. The quantity of sts is multipled 6 + 1 chain st + 1 chain st increase.

Instructions

Make the bottom part of front detail separately.

Make 55 chain sts with light-green yarn and work with relief pattern to 12 cm height, after that, finish work. Fasten the bottom and side parts with fringe due to the scheme 2 with white yarn, after that turn to making the bottom part of back and sides of front detail as one-piece cloth with light-green yarn.

Make 110 chain sts, work with relief pattern for 12 cm. Fasten the edges of sides with fringe due to the scheme 2 with white yarn.

Then, make all the details as one-piece cloth around with relief pattern to 28 cm height. After that, make 2 rows of single crochets, make decreases in the 1^st row – crochet in a chain st.

Fold your work in half and step back 2 cm from the front side edge, make 7 single crochets with light-green yarn for strap. After that, make single crochets on these 7 sts to 20 cm height and make the second strap in the same way. Sew the loose ends of straps to back.

Fasten the neck-hole with 2 rows due to the scheme 3 with white yarn. Fasten the outer edges of straps with white yarn, making wings – work due to the scheme 3, but leave 4 chain sts unfinished in the end of each row. Totally, 4 rows.

5^th row: 1 single crochet above every arch of 4 chain sts;

6^throw: “shrimpstitch”.

Sew the decorative flowers above cuts.
