You’ll need:

3 skeins of blue yarn (100% wool; 160m/100g);

Knitting needles 10.

Size: 80” long x 7” wide.

Stitches control: 17 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Bead

RS, turn back, then, 3 sts out of 1 st (RS), turn.

3 purls, turn. Knit sts behind front and back loop of 3 sts (make 2 sts out of 1 st) = 6 sts, turn.

6 purls, turn. Knit sts behind front and back loop of 6 sts = 12 sts, turn.

12 purls, turn. 12 knit sts, turn, 12 purls, turn (purl2tog) x 6 times = 6 sts, turn.

6 purls, turn, purl2tog x 3 times = 3 sts, turn.

3 purls, turn, p2sso = 1 st.

Scarf

Cast on 25 sts.

1^st and WS rows: 6 knit sts, 1 purl, (5 knit sts, 1 purl) x twice, 6 knit sts;

2^nd and 4^th rows: knit;

6^th row: 12 knit sts, bead, knit;

8^th, 10^th, 12^th and 14^th rows: knit;

16^th row: 6 knit sts, bead, knit to the last 7 sts, bead, knit;

18^th and 20^th rows: knit.

Repeat 1^st-20^th rows to the needed length, finish with 12^th row and bind off all sts.
