Crochet Christmas Cowl

Nov 28, 2021 09:58 PM

Thank you for the interest to my cowl!

Here is the pattern:

You’ll need:

230 yards of the  "Jingle Bits" colorway of City Girl Country Yarns;

Crochet hook 4 mm;

Tapestry needle;

Scissors;

Tape measure.

Size: 42 inch circumference

Instructions

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 2.

Ch 26

Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in next ch, *(1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in next ch, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 2 ch, repeat from * 1 dc in the last ch.

Row 2: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * then 3 dc in 3rd ch of t-ch.

Row 3: Ch 5 and turn. Work *(3 dc, ch 3, 1 dc) in the ch 3 sp, repeat from * then 3 dc in 5th ch of t-ch. Repeat rows 3 until about 42 inches long or desired length.

Fasten off and cut yarn leaving a 24 inch tail for seaming.

Assembly

Seam ends together using the long tail from the project and a tapestry needle.

It is super helpful to lay everything flat as you work.

Weave in ends.
