Simple Baby Blanket

For the first time, it can be seemed as not so simple, but it's really fast and simple to make it.

You’ll need:

2 balls of Bernat Blanket Stripes yarn;

Crochet hook L.

Size: 29” x 34”.

Instructions

Ch 16

1^st rnd: In 2nd ch from hook (sc, ch 2, sc, ch 2, sc), *sk ch, ch 1, sc in next ch**; rep * to ** until 2 ch rem; sk ch, ch 1, in last ch (sc, ch 2, sc, ch 2, sc), rep * to ** again to beg, ch 1, sl st to beg sc. – 18 sc

2^nd rnd: Sl st into ch-2 sp, ch 1 (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1 (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, *ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp; rep * to ch-2 sp, ch 1 (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1 (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, rep * again to beg; sl st to beg sc. – 22 sc

3^rd rnd: Sl st into ch-2 sp, ch 1 (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, *ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp; rep * to ch-2 sp, ch 1 (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 sp, rep * again to beg; sl st to beg sc. – 26 sc

Repeat round 3 until 32 rounds are complete. You may go bigger if you have more yarn and if you wish to have a bigger blanket.

Border

*Reverse sc into previous ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep * around, but placing 2 reverse sc into each corner. Finish off.
