Yarn Shops

Jan 22, 2021 09:06 PM

Hello, my dear ladies!

Sometimes, you ask me where you can buy this or that yarn, so I prepared some links, where you can buy yarn.

Of course, you may know some of them, but for others this information can be very useful.

Please, add more links, where you buy yarn in the comments.

Hi. I have knitted a few things before but I like crochet better. I'm trying to find an answer for a problem I've had with fringe. I crocheted a scarf using the recommended yarn and added the optional fringe. When I cut the strips for the fringe I ended up with small white threads sticking out on the ends. I'm not sure how to deal with these. Has anyone ever dealt with this? I've contacted customer service where I bought the yarn but so far haven't gotten any answer. I'll forward a picture.

Your favorite yarn shop may be your local Goodwill or Amvets!

I haven't been thrift shopping since the pandemic began (I'm high-risk), but my sister says that there is always plenty of yarn for sale at them. A friend of mine told me that she has found upscale/expensive brands of yarn there. When I feel more comfortable being around crowds indoors, I'm going to grab my mask and go yarn thrifting!
