Simple crochet shawl

Want to share a pattern for nice and simple crochet shawl with you.

You’ll need:

Any worsted weight yarn;

Crochet hook 5,5 mm;

Scissors;

Tapestry needle.

Size: 84,5” wide x 17,5” high.

Instructions

1^st row: Ch277, Work (2dc, ch3, 2dc) in 6th ch from hook * Skip next 3chs, work (2dc, ch3, 2dc) in next ch * Repeat across to last 3chs, skip next 2chs, 1dc in last ch, turn;

2^nd row: Ch1, 1dc in very first dc, work (2dc, ch3, 2dc) in each ch3 loop across, work 1dc in top of turning ch, turn;

3^rd row: Ch1, 1dc in very first dc, work (2dc, ch3, 2dc) in each ch3 loop across, work 1dc in very last dc st, turn.

Repeat the 3^rd row until your shawl is 13”.

Fasten off and weave in ends. Move on to blocking.

Blocking

Soak finished shawl for 20 minutes in cool water and squeeze excess water out gently. Do not twist. Lay damp shawl on blocking boards and stretch to 84.5” width x 17.5” height use blocking pins to hold in place.
