My lacy scarf
Hello, ladies!
As many of you asked me for the pattern of lace crochet scarf, here is it.
You'll need:
Bilum Hand dyed Yarns – Pukpuk Lace Weight /765yds [700m]: 80% Merino Wool, 20% Silk/100gr);
Crochet hooks 3,5 mm;
You can use 500 – 600m of any lace weight yarn, or yarn weight of your choice and matching hook.
Size: 234 cm long x 30cm wide after blocking.
Instructions
Using 3.5mm hook, ch 65
Row 1: 1 dc in 5th ch from hook, dc in each ch across, turn – 62 dc
Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc here and throughout), dc in next st and each st across, turn – 62 dc
Row 3: Ch 2, dc in next st, * ch 1, skip 1 st, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn.
Row 4: Ch 2, dc in each st and ch-1 sp across, turn – 62 dc
Row 5: Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn – 62 dc
Row 6: Ch 1 (does not count as a st), sc in first 2 sts, * ch 6, skip 4 sts, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn.
Row 7: Ch 2, dc in next st, * ch 2, sc in next ch-6 sp, ch 2, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn.
Row 8: Ch 2, dc in next st, * ch 3, sl st in next sc, ch 3, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn.
Row 9: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sts, * ch 4, skip next [ch 3, sl st, ch 3], sc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn
Row 10: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sts, * ch 6, skip next ch 4, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn.
Rows 11 – 26: Repeat rows 7 – 10 four times
Rows 27 – 29: Repeat rows 7 – 9
Row 30: Ch 2, dc in next st, * 4 dc in next ch-4 sp, dc in next 2 sts; rep from * across, turn – 62 dc
Row 31: Repeat row 3
Row 32: Repeat row 4
Row 33: Repeat row 6
You can make your scarf shorter if you wish, by finishing a repeat at a row 9, and continuing on to row 209
Rows 34 – 205: Repeat rows 7 – 10
Rows 206 – 208: Repeat rows 7 – 9
Row 209: Repeat row 30
Row 210: Repeat row 3
Row: 211: Repeat row 4
Row 212: Repeat row 6
Rows 213 – 229: Repeat rows 7 – 10 four times
Rows 230 – 232: Repeat rows 7 – 9
Row 233: Repeat row 30
Rows 234 – 237: Repeat rows 2 – 5. Fasten off.
Finishing
Weave in all loose ends. Soak your scarf in lukewarm water and gently wring in a towel. Lay project out to finished size and pull gently into shape. Pin in place and leave to dry.
