Thick merino rug pattern

Mar 24, 2021 08:25 PM

As many of you asked me about the pattern for my rug, here it is.

I used 150 yds. Of yarn (don’t remember it’s name) and my hands instead of crochet hook.

Rug

Ch 4, sl to join.

Round 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring. [6]

Round 2: Work 2sc in each st around. [12]

Round 3: *Work 1 sc in next st, 2sc in next,* repeat * to * around. [18]

Round 4: *Work 1 sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next,* repeat * to * around. [24]

Round 5: *Work 1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next,* repeat * to * around. [30]

Round 6: *Work 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next,* repeat * to * around. [36]

Round 7: *Work 1 sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next,* repeat * to * around. [42]

Round 8: *Working through BLO, place 1 sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next,* repeat * to * around. [48]

Round 9: Working through BLO, slip stitch in each st around.

Fasten off and weave in all ends. Using your needle and thread, sew the finished end to the underside of your rug to secure.
