Hi everyone,
I've been working on a new crochet project for my friend's baby shower. I'm making a set of adorable booties and a matching beanie. It's my first time trying out this pattern and I'm really excited to see how it turns out.

I'm working on a waffle stitch baby afghan for my 2nd Great Granchild that will be born in 2023. Also going to make matching sweater, booties and cap.
I've been crocheting for a few years. I'm self taught. I mainly do throws, hats, doiles, washcloths, shawls and scarves. This year I am determined to learn how to read patterns and attempt a sweater for my great grandson. Any hints on reading a pattern? I've been given numerous pattern books. Thanks for any tips.
