Crochet a Simple Cardigan
Isn't this lovely? This cardigan is absolutely awesome, and because I love them chunky and fluffy like this, I had no option but to go searching for. When I luckily found the free crochet pattern to help make this piece, I couldn't wait to share. So guys, hop into this tutorial and let it guide your entire DIY process when making this classy cardigan.
Materials needed:
- #3 Light/DK weight yarn
- 4mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Stitch markers
- 5 of 1 inch buttons (This is optional)
This kind of cardigan holds the most appeal for me because unlike those sewaters with lacy holes,
a more dense stitch privides garment strength as it gets longer. One can easily substitute a number
of crochet stitch variations using the same cardigan dimensions, making it longer if desired. When a
cardigan is made longer, solid, less-openwork stitching has the durability for holding the sweater piece
as it grows. I am very grateful organizations as this provide a diversity for sharing these wonderful patterns.
Thank you for gifting these crochet treasure for both construction of such, plus the inspiration they provide!
