Have a Good "Wrap Day" !
Good day, my dear ladies!
I see, that you like the patterns of shawls, ponchos etc. the most, so I decided to find some more patterns of such clothing. Therefore, today is a "Wrap Day".
Which patterns day would you like to have next?
Materials:
Hook size H
Worsted weight yarn
You want cotton for this project! My favorite is I Love This Cotton, but I also love this Red Heart Scrubby yarn and even the super cheap Sugar’n Cream from Joann’s works great for this project.
How to make the Puff Stitch: *Yo, insert hook into next st, pull up a loop to height of row* 4 times, working into the same st each time, until there are 9 loops on the hook. Yo and pull through 8 loops, yo and pull through last two loops on hook.
Row 1: No Chain Foundation Row: 50 stitches, chain 2, turn
Work the rest of the project in back loops only
Row 2: 50 hdc, chain 2, turn
Row 3: 10 hdc, *3 hdc, 1 Puff* 7 times, 12 hdc, chain 2, turn
Row 4: 50 hdc, chain 2, turn
Row 5: 11 hdc *1 Puff, 3 hdc* 7 times, 11 hdc, chain 2, turn
Row 6: 50 hdc, chain 2, turn
Row 7: 10 hdc, *3hdc, 1 Puff* 7 times, 12 hdc, chain 2, turn
Row 8: 50 hdc, chain 3, turn
Row 9: 50 dc, fasten off
Fold over ends overlapping 10 stitches and stitch shut. You can either do this with a whip stitch or by single crocheting all the way around.
And that’s it! Quick and easy! When you’re done, it’ll look too small to fit on your Swiffer, but it’s stretchy and should fit snugly.
