How to Create Colorful Granny Square Coasters

I've been looking for a way to use up some of my yarn stock, and this Granny Square variant is ideal. DK yarn (about 7g) is required for each Spring Square. These four squares are all based on the same pattern, but they're painted in various colors.
The squares may be utilized for a variety of crafts; in this case, I produced four coasters. But I've also been working on a broader project with these squares, which I'll tell you about shortly.
Materials Needed
Materials (sizing of tools specified in link):
- Yarn
- Crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Tape measure
