You’ll need:

1150 (1250)g of olive-green Starwool Maxi yarn (100% merino wool; 80m/50g);

100g of olive Bouclana yarn (63% polyacryl, 27% wool, 10% polyamide; 90m/50g);

Short and long circular knitting needles 5,5;

6 buttons 25 mm.

 

Used Patterns

Structured pattern, knitting needles 6: start and finish evert row with 1 selvage st.

1st row: * 1 knit st, 1 purl*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

2nd row: as sts face;

3rd row: purls;

4th row: knit sts;

5th row: * 1 purl, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl;

6th row: as sts face;

7th row: purl;

8th row: knit sts.

Repeat 1st-8th rows.

Pattern for placket, knitting needles 6: * 2 knit sts, 2 purls*.

1 x 1 rib, knitting needles 5,5.

 

Stitches control: structured pattern: 15 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

 

Instructions

Cast on 227 (243) sts with Starwool Maxi yarn and work with structured pattern. Outer 56 (60) sts form front, the central 115 (123) sts form back. In 21 cm = 48 rows from the set-up row, divide work for arm-holes and at first, continue work on outer 11 (13) sts of pattern, increase 1 selvage st from cross yarn = 12 (14) sts. In 23,5 cm = 54 rows from division of work, leave sts. Then, continue work on the central 205 (217) sts due to the pattern, increase 1 st from both side in the 1st row = 207 (219) sts. In 23,5 cm = 54 rows form division of work, leave sts. Draw the increased sts through previous or next st on all details, then, work on all 227 (243) sts as one-piece cloth. In 46 cm = 106 rows from the set-up row, make decreases for shoulder chamfer.

107th row: make 17 (21) x purl2tog = 210 (222) sts;

109th row: make the 9th and 10th sts x once, then, make every 11th and 12th sts as knit2tog x 16 (17) times = 193 (204) sts;

123rd row: make the 8th and 9th sts x once, then, make every 10th and 11th sts as purl2tog x once = 176 (186) sts;

125th row: make the 7th and 8th sts as knit2tog x once, then, make every 9th and 10th sts as knit2tog x 16 (17) times = 159 (168) sts;

141st row: make the 6th and 7th sts x once, then, make every 8th and 9th sts as knit2tog x 16 (17) times = 142 (150) sts;

143rd row: make 5th and 6th sts x once, then, make every 7th and 8th sts as purl2tog x 16 (17) times = 125 (132) sts;

153rd row: make 4th and 5th sts x once, then, make every 6th and 7th sts as knit2tog = 108 (114) sts;

155th row: make 3rd and 4th sts x once, then, make every 5th and 6th sts as purl2tog x 16 (17) times = 91 (96) sts;

161st row: make 4th and 5th (3rd and 4th) sts x once, then x 8 (9) times.
