Knit Turquoise Pullover
You’ll need:
650 (750)g of bright-blue Cotofine yarn (70% cotton, 30% polyamide; 90m/50g);
Knitting needles 6,5;
Crochet hook 5,5.
Size: M (L).
Used Patterns
Wrong-side pattern: in WS row – purls, in RS row – knit sts.
Relief patter with cables: the quantity of sts is multiple 13 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Repeat 1st-10th rows between selvage sts.
Stitches control: 13 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 67 (80) sts and make 1 cm = 2 rows of wrong-side pattern for placket. Then, work with relief pattern with cables. In 60 cm = 150 rows from placket, bind off all sts, the central 39 (40) sts form neck-hole, outer 14 (20) sts from each side – shoulders.
Front
Make in the same way, as back, but bind off the central 27 (28) sts in 55 cm = 138 rows from placket and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. Bind off the rest 14 (20) sts of shoulder from each side at the height of back.
Sleeves
Cast on 41 sts and make placket in the same way, as for back. Then, work with relief pattern with cables. In 24 cm = 60 rows (16 cm = 40 rows) from placket, increase 1 st from both sides for sleeve chamfers and bind off 3 x 1 st in every 8th row (9 x 1 st in every 4th and 6th rows) = 49 (61) sts, include the increased sts in pattern repeat. In 38,5 cm = 96 rows from placket, bind off all sts of placket.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. Fasten neck-hole with 1 circle row of single crochets and “shrimp stitch”. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
