​World's Easiest Crochet Afghan

Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge: 13 sc and 14 rows = 4" (10cm)

Finished Size: 

Measurement: 48 x 60”

Pattern

Ch 157.
1st row: (RS) 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 dc in next ch. *1 sc in next ch. 1 dc in next ch. Rep from * to end of chain. Turn. 156 sts.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first dc. *1 dc in next sc. 1 sc in next dc. Rep from * to end of row. Turn.
Rep 2nd row for pat until Blanket from beg measures 60" [152.5 cm]. Fasten off.
Side Edging: With RS facing, join yarn with sl st to bottom right corner. Ch 1. Work 1 row of sc evenly up side of Blanket. Fasten off. Rep for other side.
