Special Stitches

Knit 5 Together Through Back Loop (K5tog tbl) – Insert the needle from the right into the back loops of five stitches at the same time and knit them together as one stitch.

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 1.

1^st row (WS): K2, *(p1, yo, p1, yo, p1) in next st, k3; rep from *, end last rep k2;

2^nd row: P2, *k5, p3; rep from *, end last rep p2;

3^rd row: K2, *p5, k3; rep from *, end last rep k2;

4^th row: P2, *k5tog tbl, p3; rep from *, end last rep p2;
