​Crochet Top with Diagonal Stripes

You’ll need:

100g of grey-green yarn (47% cotton, 53% viscose; 400m/100g);

50g of the same yarn, but in light-green color;

50g of the same yarn, but in emerald color;

50g of the same yarn, but in beige yarn;

Crochet hook 2,5.

Instructions

Front

Make 17 pattern repeats due to the scheme 1, increasing sts and 17 pattern repeats, decreasing sts in order to get square. Make increased sts by means of making arches of 8 chain sts, decreases – by means of not finishing half of fan. Work, alternating colors in the following way: 15 grey-green pattern repeats, 4 light-green pattern repeats, 4 beige pattern repeats, 10 emerald pattern repeats. For straps, join the needed color of yarn to upper part of top. Then, make straps on the first and last 20 sts due to the scheme 2, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows x 3 times.

Back

Make in the same way, as front, but alternating colors in the following way: 25 grey-green pattern repeats, 8 light-green pattern repeats, 10 emerald pattern repeats. Make straps in the same way, as for front.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of double crochets in corresponding color of yarn. Make side seams. Fasten the lower edge of top due to the scheme 3. 1^st-2^nd rows – light-green, 3^rd-5^th rows – beige, 6^th row – emerald. Fasten neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets, 1 row of double crochets and 1 row of single crochets of the corresponding color yarn.
