You’ll need:

50 (50) 100g of ivory yarn (70% polyester, 30% viscose; 200m/50g) for top;

150 (150) 200g of the same yarn for vest;

Crochet hook 4,5;

Knitting needles 5;

Circular knitting needles 5.

Stitches control: 16 sts x 21,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 49 (55) 61 sts and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Don’t take this row into account. Then, work with stockinette stitch, increase 10 sts in the 3^rd row = 59 (65) 71 sts. For arm-holes, bind off 1 x 4 sts from both sides in 14 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, then, bind off 4 x 1 st in every 2^nd row = 43 (49) 55 sts. In 26 (28) 30 cm = 56 (60) 64 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 25 sts of neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 3 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 30,5 (32,5) 34,5 cm = 66 (70) 74 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 4 (7) 10 sts of shoulder from each side.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 15 sts for neck-hole in 18,5 (20,5) 22,5 cm = 40 (44) 48 rows from the set-up row, then, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 8 x 1 st in every 2^nd row.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with 1 circle row of single crochets.

Vest

Net pattern: the quantity of sts is even. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st.

1^st row: 1 knit st, * 1 yarn over, broaching*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

2^nd and 4^th rows: purl;

3^rd row: 1 knit st, * knit2tog, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st.

Repeat 1^st-4^throws.

Stitches control: 12 sts x 22,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Left Front

Cast on 58 (60) 62 sts and make 1 WS row of knit sts. Then, work with net pattern. At the same time, for side chamfers, bind off 32 x 11 sts in every 2^nd and 4^th rows by turn from the right side = 26 (28) 30 sts. For arm-holes, bind off 1 x 4 sts in 44,5 cm = 100 rows from the set-up toe, then, 2 x 1 st in every 2^nd and 4^th rows by turn. Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. For plackets, cast on 56 (60) 64 sts with circular knitting needles and make 1 circle row of purls. Then, bind off all sts as knit sts.
