Crochet Lacing Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 4 + 3 sts.

1st row: dc in the 5th st and all other stitches across. Work in back ridge of chain. Turn;

2nd row (RS): ch3, [skip next to stitches, FPTC around the next two stitches, then find that 2 skipped stitches and work FPTC around the 1st and after around the 2d stitches] – repeat across until you have 2 dc and ch3. FPTC around next 2 sts and dc in top of chain 3, turn;

3rd row (WS): ch3, [skip next 2 sts again and make BPTC around the next 2 sts, go behind the work and find those 2 skipped sts, BPTC around the 1st and 2d sts] – repeat across until 3 sts remain. Make BPTC around next top-left treble crochet sts, dc in top of chain 3, turn;

4th row (RS): ch3, [skip next to stitches, FPTC around the next two stitches, then find that 2 skipped stitches and going in front work FPTC around the 1st and after around the 2d stitches] – repeat across until you have 2 dc and ch3. FPTC around next 2 sts and dc in top of chain 3, turn. At this row you can see that skipped stitches will be always hidden a bit. Help yourself with fingers to make it easier to get them.

Repeat 3rd-4th rows.
