​Lace Motifs Pullover

You’ll need:

9 (10) skeins of lavender yarn (29% linen, 37% cotton, 34% bamboo; 150m/50g);

Crochet hooks 2 and 2,5.

Size: S/M (L/XL)

Chest circumference: 104 (116) см.

Length: 60 (63) cm.

Used Patterns

Lace motif “flower”: work with crochet hook 2,5. Make 5 chain sts and circle them in the ring with slip st in the initial st. Work around.

1^st row: 5 chain sts (the first 3 chain sts replace the 1^st double crochet), * 1 double crochet in the ring of chain sts, 2 chain sts*; repeat from * to * x 7 times, circle the row with slip st in the 3^rd st from the beginning of row = there should be make 8 x 1 double crochet and 2 chain sts behind the ring of chain sts;

2^nd row: 1 slip st behind 2 chain sts, 4 chain sts (replace the 1^st treble crochet) and 3 treble crochets behind the same 2 chain sts, * 11 chain sts, 4 treble crochets behind the next 2 chain sts, 3 chain sts, 4 treble crochets behind the next 2 chain sts*; repeat from * to *, finish with 11 chain sts, 4 treble crochets behind the last 2 chain sts, 3 chain sts, circle the row with slip st in the 4^th chain st from the beginning of row = 4 “corners” of 11 chain sts and 4 x 3 chain sts between “corners”.

Stitches control: every lace motif = 6,5 x 6,5 cm.

Instructions

Work as one-piece cloth from lower edge of front to lower edge of back. Make 8 (9) motifs and connect them in the “corners” in the following way: 5 chain sts, 1 slip st in the center of 11 chain sts of another motif, 5 chain sts, 3 chain sts and continue work in the following way: 1 chain st, 1 slip st in the center of 3 chain sts of another motif, 1 chain st, work to the next “corner” = 5 chain sts, 1 slip st in the center of 11 chain sts of another motif, 5 chain sts. After that, continue work due to the instructions = motifs are connected with the previous row, as it’s described above. When there are 5 rows made, start making sleeves (see the scheme). When there are 7 rows made, start forming neck-hole (see the scheme).

For size S/M the center of work is the 9^th row.

For size L/XL the center of work is between the 9^th and 10^th rows.

After that, make the second half of your work due to the scheme.

Assembly

Sew the sides of tunic in the same way, as in the process of connecting motifs between one another.

Neck-Hole Fastening

Crochet around with crochet hook 2. Picot = 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet back in the 1^st out of 3 chain sts.

1^st row: start from the right shoulder. * 1 single crochet in the center of 3 chain sts, 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the lase of 4 treble crochets of “petal”, 4 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the “top”, where “corners” are connected together, 4 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the beginning of 4 treble crochets of the next “petal”, 3 chain sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st in the 1^st single crochet of the row;

2^nd row: 1 chain st and 3 single crochets behind every chain, circle the row with 1 slip st in chain st;

3^rd row: 4 chain sts, 1 treble crochet in every single crochet and circle the row with 1 slip st in the 4^th chain st from the beginning of row;

4^th row: * 3 chain sts, skip 3 sts, (1 double crochet, 5 chain sts, 1 double crochet, 3 chain sts, skip 3 sts) in the next st, 1 single crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to*, circle the row with 1 slip st in base chain of 3 chain sts;

5^th row: 1 slip st in every of 3 chain sts of the beginning of the previous row, 1 single crochet behind chain of 5 chain sts, 3 chain sts (replace the 1^st double crochet) and 3 double crochets behind chain, picot x 3 times, 4 double crochets behind the same chain*, skip sts to the next chain of 3 chain sts, (4 double crochets, 3 picots, 4 double crochets) behind chain*; repeat from * to *, circle the row with 1 slip st in the 3^rd chain st from the beginning of the row.

Fastening of Lower Edge and Sleeves

1^st row: see the 1^st row of neck-hole fastening;

2^nd row: 1 chain st and 3 single crochets behind every chain of 3 chain sts, 4 single crochets behind every chain of 4 chain sts, circle the row with 1 slip st in chain st;

3^rd row: see the 3^rd row of neck-hole fastening;

4^th row: * 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts, (1 double crochet, 5 chain sts, 1 double crochet, 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts) in the next st, 1 single crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to *, circle the row with 1 slip st in base st of 3 chain sts;

5^th row: see the 5^th row of neck-hole fastening.
