​Chessboard Knit Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 2.

Note: Slip sts purlwise with yarn at front (right side) of work.

1st row (RS): 1 knit st , *yarn to front, slip 3 sts, 3 knit sts; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

2nd row: purl;

3rd to 6th rows: repeat the 1^st and 2^nd rows x twice;

7^th row: 1 knit st, * 3 knit sts, yarn to front, slip 3 sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st;

8^th row: purl;

9^th-12^th row: repeat the 7^th and 8^th rows x twice.

Repeat 1^st-12^th rows.
