Special Stitches

C4B = Slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.

C4F = Slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, knit next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.

T4B = Slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then purl sts from cable needle.

T4F=Slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, purl next 2 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 10.

1st row (RS): P3, C4B *p4, C4B; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3;

2nd row: K3, p4, *k4, p4; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3;

3rd row: P1, *T4B, T4F; rep from * to last st, p1;

4th row: K1, p2, k4, *p4, k4; rep from * to last 3 sts, p2, k1;

5th row: P1, k2, p4, *C4F, p4; rep from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1;

6th row: As 4th row;
