Crochet Yellow Tunic
You’ll need:
400g of yellow Caprino yarn (60% cotton, 40% polyacryl; 142m/50g);
Crochet hook 3,5.
Size: S.
Used Patterns
Square: due to the scheme 1. Make all the next squares in the same way, as the 1st one, join to the next squares in the 4th row. For this, make 1 single crochet behind the arch of the previous squares instead of the central chain st of corner arch of central arch.
Triangle: due to the scheme 2. Join to the previous squares in the 4th row, as it’s described for the scheme 1.
Arches of shells: * 1 single crochet behind arch, 10 double crochets behind arch*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip st in the 1st single crochet.
Stitches control: square: 12 x 12 cm;
Triangle: 12 x 12 x17 cm.
Note: make bottom and upper parts separately, then, connect them with crochet hook.
Instructions
Bottom Part
Make 16 squares and connect them due to the pattern design.
Upper Part
Make 22 squares and 13 triangles and connect them due to the pattern design.
Assembly
Connect bottom and upper parts in the following way:
1st rnd: join the yarn to the corner connection of bottom part and make 1 single crochet in this corner, * 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the 4th treble crochets, 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next arch, 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the 4th treble crochets, 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the corner*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip st in the 1st single crochet;
2nd rnd: 4 slip sts to the center of the 1st arch, 1 chain st and 1 single crochet in the same arch, * 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the corresponding base st of triangles (see arrows on the scheme 2), 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next arch*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 slip st in the 1st single crochet. Fasten all the edges with arches of shells.
