2^nd row: * unfinished puff st in the top of the previous puff st, (unfinished puff st in the space between the next 2 puff sts of the previous row) x twice (= 3 puff sts on the crochet hook), 3 puff sts together*; repeat from * to *;

3^rd row: 1 puff st in the top of the previous puff st, * unfinished puff st in the top of the previous puff st, unfinished puff st in the space before the one, but last puff st, puff st in the next square (= 3 puff sts on the crochet hook), 3 puff sts together*; repeat from * to *.

Repeat the last row for the pattern.
