Nice Ginger Knit Tunic

You’ll need:

450g of ginger color yarn (78% cotton, 22% linen; 100m/50g);

Knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 3,5;

1 button.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 17 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the pattern, yarn overs – as purls. Repeat the pattern between selvage sts. Make 1st-38th rows x once, 27th-38th rows x once, 39th-44th rows x once, 43rd-44th rows x 9 times = totally, 74 rows.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Stitches control: relief pattern: 19 sts x 28,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Stockinette stitch: 19 sts x 29,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 87 sts and work with relief pattern. In 17,5 cm = 50 rows from the set-up row, bind off 1 st from both sides for better fitting and 2 x 1 st in every 12th row = 81 sts. In 26 cm = 74 rows from the set-up row, start work with stockinette stitch. In 8 cm = 24 rows from relief pattern, increase 1 st from both sides for chamfers and 2 x 1 st in every 16th row = 87 sts. In 25 cm = 74 rows from relief pattern, bind off 3 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers and 27 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 44 cm = 130 rows from relief pattern, bind off the rest 27 sts for neck-hole.

Front

Start in the same way, as back, but for neck-hole vent, bind off the central 3 sts in 15,5 cm = 46 rows from relief pattern and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row and at 7,5 cm = 22 rows height of vent, increase 1 st and 1 x 1 st in the next 4th row. In 25 cm = 74 rows from relief pattern, bind off 3 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers and 17 x 1 st in every 2nd row. At the same time, in 26,5 cm = 78 rows from relief pattern, bind off 5 sts from inwards for neck-hole and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 7 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 3 x 1 st in every 4th row. In 37,5 cm = 110 rows from relief pattern, bind off 2 sts from each side.

Left Sleeve

Cast on 70 sts and work with stockinette stitch. In 2,5 cm = 8 rows from the set-up row, make increases for raglan chamfer from the right side in the same way, as for back and from the left side in the same way, as for front. In 15 cm = 44 rows from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from the left side for smooth rounding and 2 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 5 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 21,5 cm = 64 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 2 sts.

Right Sleeve

Make in symmetry to the left sleeve.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Fasten all the edge of sleeves, vent, neck-hole with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”, make loop of 12 chain sts in the right upper corner of vent and fasten it with 1 row of slip sts. Sew button.
