Question. Do you think that doilies are back in fashion? Or have they always been in fashion?
I ask because I just started making some and I love it!

I think, that if they properly fit in your interior, so why not to make them.
I learned to crochet making doilies. I love them because they are small projects that produce something beautiful.
Some people do still use them, but recently my sister collected many of the family doilies to make a wall collage and I've seen them put together for curtains and bedspreads.
Been crocheting over 54 years and I love dollies. I like what I like and don’t care about what people (designers) say is in or out. Just do and use what makes me happy. I must have made thousand of them. Love thread work more than yarn work but do both. Love crochet over knitting but I do both.
