​Elegant Purple Dress

You’ll need:

510g of purple yarn (52% viscose Rayon, 24% Superkid mohair, 24% polyamide; 100m/50g);

55g of violet yarn (67% Superkid mohair, 3% wool, 30% polyamide; 500m/50g);

Knitting needles 4 and 5;

Crochet hook 2,5;

Dark-purple small beads.

Size: S-M.

Used Patterns

Relief pattern: due to the scheme;

Rose brooch: string the beads on the working yarn. Make 35 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with violet yarn.

1^st row: single crochets;

2^nd, 4^th, 6^th, 8^th rows: 1 double crochet in double crochet of the previous row, 1 chain st;

3^rd, 5^th, 7^th, 9^th rows: 1 double crochet in double crochet of the previous row, 2 double crochets in double crochet of the previous row in every 5 double crochets;

10^th row: 1 double crochet in double crochet of the previous row, 3 chain sts by turn, put bead in the 2^nd chain st.

Make brooch seam, tighten the set-up row with working yarn.

Stitches control: 20 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Cast on 85 sts in Italian method with knitting needles 4, then, change to knitting needles 5 and make 30 cm = 72 rows with relief pattern. Then, decrease 5 x 1 st in every 9^th row from both sides for side chamfers = 75 sts. Then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 5^th row from both sides = 85 sts. In 67 cm = 163 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both side for arm-holes. In 16 cm = 38 rows from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the central 19 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from inwards. In 19 cm = 46 rows from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the rest 15 sts.

Front

Cast on 52 sts in Italian method with knitting needles 4 and purple yarn, 5 sts with violet yarn, 28 sts with purple yarn and make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 11 cm = 26 rows from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the central 11 sts, bind off 2 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row, 2 x 2 sts in every 4^th row and 4 x 1 st in every 2^nd row.

Left Sleeve

Cast on 43 sts in Italian method with knitting needles 4 and purple yarn, then, change to knitting needles 5 and work with relief pattern, increase 7 x 1 st in every 15^th row from both sides = 57 sts. In 48 cm = 116 rows from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts and 6 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides (2 x 2 sts in every 4^th row and 1 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 3 sts in every 2^nd row) for sleeve caps. In 62 cm = 148 rows from the beginning of work, bind off the rest 11 sts.

Right Sleeve

Cast on 26 sts in Italian way with knitting needles 4 and purple yarn, 5 sts with violet yarn, 12 sts with purple yarn and make in the same way, as left sleeve.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; cast on 88 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles and work with 2 x 2 rib. In 9 cm = 22 rows, bind off the sts. Sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Sew rose brooch to the waist.
