You’ll need:

440g of brown Musik Style Collection Rock (80% virgin wool, 15% nylon, 5% metallic polyester; 47,5m/50g);

300g of white Musik Style Collection Classica (80% virgin wool, 20% silk; 115m/50g);

Knitting needles 10 and 12;

Crochet hook 4;

8 buttons.

Note: pearled rib is WS of half-patent rib.

Used Patterns

Beads: 2 chain sts, 9 double crochets in the 1st chain st, 1 slip st in the 1st double crochet. Then, make 4 double crochets in 1 base st x twice, tighten the sts;

2 x 2 rib.

Stitches control: pearled rib: 10 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

2 x 2 rib: 13 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back

Cast on 38 sts in Italian method with knitting needles 10 and brown yarn, change to knitting needles 12 and work with pearled rib. In 60 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 4 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 30 sts. In 17 cm from the beginning of arm-hole, bind off the central 10 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. In 80 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the rest 8 sts.

Left Front

Cast on 21 sts in Italian method with knitting needles 10 and brown yarn, change to knitting needles 12 and work with pearled rib. In 60 cm from the beginning of work, make arm-hole from the right side in the same way, as for back. In 70 cm from the beginning of work, bind off5 sts from the left side for neck-hole and 4 x 1 st in every 2^nd row. In 80 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the rest 8 sts.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Cast on 21 sts with brown yarn in Italian method with knitting needles 10, change to knitting needles 12 and work with pearled rib. For side chamfers, increase 3 x 1 st in every 18^th row from both sides = 27 sts. In 48 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 3 sts from both sides for sleeves and 3 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts in every 4^th row. In 63 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the rest 11 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. For collar, cast on 78 sts in Italian method with knitting needles 10 and white yarn, make 45 cm with 2 x 2 rib and bind off the sts. Sew the collar to the neck-hole. For plackets, cast on 114 sts with knitting needles 10 and white yarn, make button-holes on the right front. Sew the buttons.
