You’ll need:
Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling worsted weight (4) yarn. 10 skeins Silver Heather (1,750 yards), 6 skeins Black (1,010 yards);
Crochet hook 5 mm;
Yarn needle.
Stitches control: 4 x 4” square= 5 tiles by 5 tiles
Size: 52” x 69”
Notes:
Each square on the graph counts as one block. One block consists of one 3 Ch and 3 Dc.
You will be turning after every row.
Be sure to note whether the row is an increase or decrease row. This will be indicated in the written pattern.
Color A- silver heather (main color), Color B- Black (secondary color)
Instructions
Trim
With color A, work single crochet stitches evenly around the blanket. You will be making 3 single crochet into the same stitch at all 4 corners (to keep the corners from curling). You will be working approximately 3 single per block around the blanket. When you reach the bottom left side at rows 66-83 switch to Color B. Switch back to Color A for the remainder of the edging. Slip stitch into the first single crochet stitch to join.
Tie off and weave in all ends.
