The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 9.

1^st-7^th rows: 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts, * knit3tog, 2 knit sts, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, knit3tog, 2 knit sts, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st;

2^nd and all the even rows: due to the ornament;

9^th-15^th rows: knit2tog with left decline, 2 knit sts, 1 yarn over, * 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts, knit3tog, 2 knit sts, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 2 knit sts, knit2tog with right decline.

Repeat 1^st-16^th rows.
