You’ll need:

400; 450; 500 g of yarn (55% wool, 45% cotton; 130m/50g);

Circle knitting needles 4,5 with fishing line 80 cm;

Auxiliary needle -2 pcs;

Stitch markers.

Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib;

Cables: work due to the schemes A and B: vertical pattern repeat is 1st-20th rows.

Stitches control: 28 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 124; 140; 148 crossed sts and make 1 wrong-side row with purls.

Turn to the rib pattern and allocate the sts in the following way: 1 selvedge st, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, rib. finish the row with 2 knit sts, 1 selvedge st.

After knitting for 19 cm from the set-up row (= 50 rows) turn to cables A with the following allocation of sts: 1 selvedge st, 12; 20; 24 sts of rib (start with 2 knit sts, finish with 1 purls), * 18 sts of cable A, 2 purls, 20 sts of rib pattern*; repeat from * to * twice, 18 sts of cable A, 12; 20; 24 sts of rib (start with 2 purl, finish with 2 knit sts), 1 selvedge st.

After 7,5 cm (= 20 rows) turn to cable A with the following sts allocation: 1 selvedge st, 32; 40; 44 sts of rib, 18 sts –cables B, 22 sts rib (start and finish with 2 purls), 18 sts cables B, 32; 40; 44 sts of rib (start with 2 purls, finish with 2 knit sts), 1 selvedge st.

After 7,5 cm (= 20 rows) with last cables A = 110 rows or 41 cm from the 1st row, place marker after 59; 67; 71 sts and in 6 sts.

In further work, make right-side rows after the 1st marker and 1 cross knit st x 24 times before the second marker. Include these sts in rib pattern: knit before the first marker, slip marker, 1 increase, slip marker, continue the pattern to end of row. Totally, 172; 188; 196 sts.

After knitting 48 rows (= 18,5 cm) bind off the central 54 sts for the neck-hole and finish each part separately. At 59; 67; 71 sts, make 6 rows of rib for each shoulder, leave the sts on the auxiliary needles.

Front

Make in the same way, as back.

Assembly

Place face to face front and back parts. Connect the sts of shoulder lines, front and back, knitting them together, bind off the sts.

Repeat theses actions for the 2nd shoulder.

Sew up the side seams before increases on arm-holes (=43 cm).
