You’ll need:

Drops Fabel yarn:

100-100-150-150-150-150 g color no 522, turquoise/blue;

100-100-100-100-150-150 g color no 904, lavender;

100-100-100-100-100-100 g color no 910, sea mist;

Note: Skirt worked in one color = 200-250-250-300-300-350 g Fabel.

Circle knitting needles (60 or 80 cm / 24'' or 32'') SIZE 3 mm/US 2.5 - or size needed to get 28 sts x 30 rows in zig-zag pattern = 4'' x 4'' (10 x 10 cm);

Elastic: approx. 66-110 cm / 26"-43½''.


Size: S - M - L - XL - XXL - XXXL

Instructions

Garter stitch (worked in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.

Main Pattern

See diagrams A.1 to A.13. The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS.

Stripes

Work as follows:

* 2 rows turquoise/blue, 2 rows lavender *, repeat from *-* for 6 cm / 2 3/8''.

* 2 rows lavender, 2 rows sea mist *, repeat from *-* for 3 cm / 1''.

* 2 rows sea mist, 2 rows turquoise/blue *, repeat from *-* for 5 cm / 2''.

Repeat these 14 cm / 5½'' upwards.


Skirt

Worked in the round on circular needle from bottom up.

Cast on 375-425-475-525-600-650 sts on circular needle size 3 mm / US 2.5 with turquoise/blue Work a ridge in garter stitch - see explanation above. Then work according to A.1 (= 15-17-19-21-24-26 repetitions in width) and work STRIPES – see explanation above. When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 345-391-437-483-552-598 sts on needle.

When piece measures 13-13-13-13-13-14 cm / 5"-5"-5"-5"-5"-5½", work A.3 over all sts. When A.3 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 315-357-399-441-504-546 sts on round. Continue with A.4

When piece measures 26-26-26-26-27-28 cm / 10 1/4"-10 1/4"-10 1/4"-10 1/4"-10½"-11", work A.5 over all sts. When A.5 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 285-323-361-399-456-494 sts on round. Continue with A.6

When piece measures 39-39-39-40-41-42 cm / 15 1/4"-15 1/4"-15 1/4"-15 3/4"-16"-16½", work A.7 over all sts. When A.7 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 255-289-323-357-408-442 sts on round. Continue with A.8

When piece measures 45-46-47-48-50-51 cm / 17 3/4"-18"-18½"-19½"-19 3/4"-20", work A.9 over all sts. When A.9 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 225-255-285-315-360-390 sts on round. Continue with A.10.

When piece measures 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm / 19 3/4''-20½''-21¼''-22''-22¾''-23 5/8'', work A.11 over all sts. When A.11 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 195-221-247-273-312-338 sts on round. Continue with A.12.

When piece measures 55-57-59-61-63-65 cm / 21 5/8''-22½''-23¼''-24''-24¾''-25½'', work A.13 over all sts = 165-187-209-231-264-286 sts. Continue in stockinette st over all sts. When piece measures 57-59-61-63-65-67 cm / 22½''-23¼''-24''-24¾''-25½''-26 3/8'', P 1 round (= folding edge), then work in stockinette st for 2 cm / 3/4'' for hem before loosely binding off.

Assembly

Fold the hem double towards the WS and fasten with neat stitches. Leave a little opening to thread the elastic through.
