​Summer Crochet Cardigan from Inspiration Post

This is not exactly the cardigan, as I previously posted the photo of, cause I haven’t found the appropriate instructions, but this one is quite similar.

You’ll need:

500 (600) g of Capri yarn of gray color (55% cotton, 45% polyacryl; 105m/50g);

Crochet hook 3,5 and 4;

Knitting needles 4.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Main pattern A: the quantity of sts is multipled 13 + 10 + 3 chain sts increase. Work due to the scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-6^th rows once, then repeat 3^rd-6^th rows.

Main pattern B: the quantity of sts is multipled 13 + 6 + 3 chain sts increase. Crochet in the same way, as main pattern A, but due to the scheme 2.

Fringe: the quantity of sts is multipled 12 + 1 + 1 chain st increase. Work due to the scheme 3. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1^st-4t^h rows once.

Garter stitch: right side and wrong side – knit sts.

Stitches control

Main patterns A and B: 18 sts x 7,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Fringe: 1 pattern repeat x 4 rows = 7,5 x 4,5 cm;

Garter stitch: 17 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 88 (101) chain sts + 1 chain st increase with crochet hook 3,5 and make 1 row of single crochets. Then, change to crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern A. In 60,5 cm = 46 rows ( 66 cm = 50 rows) from the set-up edge, finish your work, but make 3 chain sts instead of 8 chain sts.

Left Front

Make 32 (36) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with crochet hook 3,5 and make 1 row of single crochets. Then, change to the crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern B (A). Finish your work at the height of back, but make 3 chain sts instead of 8 chain sts.

Right Front

In symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 45 (49) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with crochet hook 3,5 and make 1 row of single crochets. Then, change to the crochet hook 4 and work with the main pattern B (A). For sleeve chamfers increase 0.5 cm x14 from both sides in every 2^nd row (0,5 cm x 16). In 39 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, finish your work, but make 3 chain sts instead of 8 chain sts in the last row.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the edges of front and neck-hole with fringe by means of crochet hook 3,5 = 217 (241) single crochets. Fasten the sleeves with fringe by means of crochet hook 3,5, but start with ts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat x3 times, finish with sts before arrow = 41 single crochets. For each strap make 220 sts and make 5 cm of garter stitch and bind off the sts as knit. Sew the straps to the front.
