Dream Catcher
You'll need:
Metal or wooden ring (about 12 cm diameter);
Suede ribbon (at least 2,5 m);
Threads (at least 2,5 m);
Feathers;
Beads;
Glue;
Scissors.
Instructions
Fix the end of the suede ribbon with glue and start braiding your ring.
Having reached the end, fix the end with glue.
From the remaining ribbon, make a loop on which your catcher will hang. If desired, you can decorate it with a pair of beads.
Now we proceed to the creation of the web itself. Secure the thread with a knot. Then go down 6 cm below and make a loop as shown in the photo. Tighten.
Continue down below. Try to keep the distance always the same, and remember to tighten the thread tightly.
Returning to the beginning, go to the second "row", only this time the thread will wrap around the threads of the first "row". Do not forget to tighten the thread.
Continue adding beads through equal lengths. The closer you get to the center, the harder it will be to make loops.
When you feel it is time to stop, tie a thread in a knot and cut off the excess.
Cut three suede ribbons, about half a meter each. Fold them in half and tie them as shown in the photo.
Add beads as much as you want.
Insert feathers into the beads at the ends of the ribbons and, if necessary, fix with glue.
