Lark Crochet Stitch
The name of this crochet stitch may vary. I like this one, as it sounds more poetic.
The quantity of chain sts is multipled 4 sts + 3 sts.
1st row: 3 chain sts (= 1 double crochet), 1 double crochet in next 2 sts, * 1 chain st, skip 1 st, 1 double crochet in next 3 sts*; repeat from * to *, turn.
2nd row: 3 chain sts (= 1 double crochet), 1 double crochet in next 2 crochets, * 1 chain st, skip next arch, 1 double crochet in next 3 crochet*; repeat from * to *, turn.
Change the color of yarn.
3rd row: 4 chain sts (= 1 double crochet + 1 chain st), skip 2nd crochet, 1 double crochet in the 3rd crochet, * long crochet in the arch of 1st row, 1 double crochets in the 1st crochet of next pattern repeat, 1 chain st, skip 2nd crochet, 1 double crochet in the 3rd crochet*; repeat from * to *.
4th row: 4 chain sts (= 1 double crochet + 1 chain st), skip the arch, * 1 double crochet in next 3 crochets, 1 chain st, leave the next arch uncrocheted*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 double crochet in the last crochet, turn.
Change the color of yarn again.
5th row: 3 chain sts (= 1 double crochet), long crochet in the arch of the 3rd row, * 1 double crochet in the 1st crochet of the next pattern repeat, 1 chain st, leave 1 crochet uncrocheted, 1 double crochet in the 3rd crochet, 1 long crochet in the arch of the 3rd row*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 double crochet in the last crochet, turn.
Repeat 2nd-5th rows.
