- 688 yards of medium/#4 weight yarn (I used 2 cakes of Mandala Ombre from Lion Brand Yarn in the “Balance” colorway)
- Yarn/tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape
Sizing
The dimensions of the shawl are:
- 14 inches wide
- 62 inches long
Pattern Notes
Easily change the shawl width by adjusting the multiple of the starting chain (see below for multiple).
Change the length of the shawl by working more rows of the pattern.
Spring Celebration Crochet Shawl Pattern
Ch 52 (to change the width of the shawl, work in any multiple of 3+1).
Row 1: In the 4th ch from the hook, work (dc, sc). *Chain 2, then skip 2 chains, and then work (dc, sc) into the next chain. Repeat from * to the end of the row.
Row 2: Chain 3 and turn. Skip the first stitch (sc from the previous row) and work (dc, sc) into the next stitch (dc from the previous row). *Chain 2 then skip the first stitch (sc from the previous row) and work (dc, sc) into the next stitch (dc from the previous row). Repeat from * to the end of the row.
Repeat row 2 until the shawl is as long as you like!
Finishing & Assembly
Weave in any ends and your shawl is ready to wear!
