Notes:
  • To make the item bigger or smaller use a 10+6 chain.
  • Work in the back loops only for all the rows. The chain 2 and chain 1 count as the first stitch of each row.
  • The pattern is 5 slip stitches, then 5 half double crochet. You repeat that for the entire row. Do that twice.
  • Then switch to 5 half double crochet stitches, then 5 slip stitches. You repeat that for the entire row. Do that twice. You repeat these 4 rows for the pattern.

Row 1: slst in 2nd ch, and in next 4 chs. Repeat** *hdc in next 5 chs, slst in next 5 chs*

across. Chain 1 and turn. (In the back loop for the entire pattern)

Row 2: slst in first 5 sts. Repeat** *hdc in next 5 sts, slst in next 5 sts* across. Chain 2 and turn.

Row 3: (ch-2 always counts as 1st st). hdc in next 4 sts. Repeat** *slst in next 5 sts, hdc in

next 5 sts* across. Chain 2 and turn.

Row 4: hdc in next 4 sts. Repeat** *slst in next 5 sts, hdc in next 5 sts* across. Chain 1 and turn.

Row 5: slst in first 5 sts. Repeat** *hdc in next 5 sts, slst in next 5 sts* across. Chain 1 and turn.

Repeat Rows 2-5 for 190 rows or until desired length is reached.
